I have a white dove and it is very tame, it is willing to stand on my finger and shoulder and can be taken anywhere, Im thinking of buying it a white pigeon friend; the tame one, but will they be compatible with each other?
Dove and pigeon are different.

I dont recommend it, Pigeons are much larger then Doves, and more aggressive. The Pigeon could end up attacking the Dove and really hurting it. If you want to get it a friend stick with just getting another Dove.

hi it depends on he pigeons larger pigeon r aggressive but i have a ring neck in my coupe and its fine with very large pigeons maybe b.c of the size and it doesn't bother anyone. but it u decide to put pigeon in with the dove make sure its a good size cage and watch them and see what they do. if they peck at each other that's just them being Territorial. but watch them and a big cage so they might get long.
