When playing Oblivion, my mouse and keyboard stop working after a few minutes of play, but the game continues. I have to press CtrlAltDelete and kill the game. I tried a different mouse and it didn't help.

You need to up grade to a " games- rated " mouse. It,s soething to with the static created when you are moving your mouse quite fast that makes it go crazy. The differenf ones are rated for this & that, and you need a gaming mouse.That's all I can think of. Hope this helped.

are you using an original cd of oblivion?if so, contact their support team...if not, are you sure you have cracked the game properly?
Also,try reinstalling in both cases,it may help.
