Hi moomoo,
To get the feel of the great outdoors why not eat on the patio
home made burger, beans & fries and a nice wine possibly
have a fire roaring , its easy to prepare before hand no settings
to lay up and you can rinse your plates in the stream.
Take care now , mind those bears

Steak on the grill, kabobs made with shrimp, red pepper, green pepper, onion and mushrooms.
We go to the lake every weekend. I make pizza on the grill. Use any type of crust mix and place on a pizza pan. Place it on the top rack of the grill until it is about 70% cooked. Take off the grill and put whatever you want on the pizza. Put back on the top rack and cook until done. I always make sure that I turn it around ever few minutes. One pizza that I love to make at the lake is roasted red pepper, mozzarella and a little gorganzola cheese.

Make a lasagna (there are tons of different types to make- try googling it) ahead of time at home and freeze it. Pick up a loaf of italian bread on your way up and some salad- a nice bottle of red wine with the addition of a couple of candles you are good to go. There is also the added benefit of not actually having to "cook" while you are there. Just toss the lasagna in the oven prep a salad and wait. That way you have more time to enjoy your time up there together not in the kitchen ;) - have fun! Cheers!

Will you have a fire pit? Get a good fire going with plenty of coals. Let it die down a bit.
Wrap a head of garlic, a couple potatoes and shucked corn on the cob in aluminum foil and tuck each under the coals. (you can dig up a spud in 1/2 hour and squeeze it to see if it's done)
Toss a couple steaks on grill and you're all set!
NOTHING beats the flavor of stuff cooked like that~
