sounds like growing pains -- it is very common when they are going through a growth spurt. For some reason it bothers them more at night.
If it were in the morning I would have her checked for rhematism. Especially if allergies run in your family.
Try using a cotton sock filled with raw rice. Tie the end to keep it all in. Heat in micro for one and half minutes. Be careful because it can get very hot depending on the micro.
Using the rice sock as a "warmy" on the sore spots helps ease some of the discomfort without lots of meds. Tylenol is okay too. If it persists see the doc.

Here is the key, during the day she is "jumping around and playing", and at night her leg and foot hurt. I think she just overworked her little muscles and has exercise aches. A child exercises through play, and they don't know when to stop.
Try keeping track of her activity and see if it's more than usual. If so, see if she has pain that night. And if she keeps up this active state, see if the pains go away after 3-4 days (once her muscles are use to the new activity).
While she is hurting massages and warm compresses work wonders, and if it's really bad, some Tylenol.
My eldest is 9 and he is better able to tell us what hurts and then we back track to what he did that day. The majority of the time he did something extra and now a foot, knee or ankle is aching. My second is 3 1/2 and she never quits moving. She is just now starting to be able to tell us better what hurts where.
Take care!

Does she search for suggestion from from her acquaintances? per chance so yet she has all of them suggested no longer to inform! skill boyfriends? What happened 6 months in the past to commence this off/ some thing did, rape, sexual attack, knocked down by some higher adult men she's now petrified of? confusing to envision if she needs a school pass? Will she write for you or factor at stuff? wish the homework is being kept up with a minimum of. If mandatory morse code or deaf signal language would help open her up slightly. confusing to say what is going to artwork without seeing er. you want to attempt those verbal substitute strategies she would lose interest of no one passing the salt in case you all pretend you do not comprehend what she needs. no longer positive if that is selective mutism, is there absolutely everyone she will be in a position to search for suggestion from from? ask your self what would ensue if she observed an coincidence with harm human beings will she be in a position to call emergency for help? She looks very disconnected from life. with melancholy probable. Am shocked they kicked her out for oppositional behaviour isn't that what they artwork on? i'd take the rigidity off in simple terms be favourite and keep on with your lives and observe. In yet another 6 months i'd be aggravating yet she will be in a position to wish a job or earnings at a million factor so she will be in a position to favor to communicate a at the same time as. Making too a lot fuss can make this extra entrenched. Ask her issues at table as if she will be in a position to reply then ignore about her if she fails to reply. reliable success

Probably just growing pains! Children grow the most when they are sleeping, that could have something to do with it only being when she's laying down. Or maybe she just has a muscle cramp, try massaging her leg and see if it makes her feel any better!
Hope that helps at all!

It could be growing pains, or honestly, it sounds like your little one is starting to make excuses why not to lie down. It's normal for kids to start "making things up" at this age to get out of everyday tasks. At any rate, if this continues, you should have her leg checked out by your doctor just in case.

It's probably growing pains. I used to get them when I was little and it would only be when I was laying down. There is really nothing you can do, some kids get them REALLY bad. My mom used to rub my legs for a while when I layed down. That helped.

Maybe the way she is laying down is causing her leg and foot to fall asleep. This happens to my son all the time. Try massaging her leg and see if that eases it.

Maybe it is Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS). She is complaining that it is "hurting". But at two years old, she could be mistaking "hurting" for the "creepy crawly feeling" associated with RLS.
