Okay, want to clear something up here first. The cubs guy who answered you........ I hate it when people say things like "All women, all men, every women, every man, and always". How do they know? Did they go around the world and ask every single man or women to know that they are right?
Some women like aggressive men, some like nice men. Some women go the aggressive route once or twice and decide that nice is better. They learn the hard way. I'd have to say it depends. If I don't notice the guy and he notices me, I hope he's aggressive enough to ask me out. But, if I see a nice shy guy that I'm interested in, you bet I'll ask him out.

You're thinking is flawed, and as long as you think that way, you'll be bitching about nice guys finishing last.
What most women want: Confident, Nice
What women will date, but not be happy with: Confident, Jerk.
What women will be friends with but not date: Shy, Nice
Unpopular even on World of Warcraft: Shy, jerk.
Nice and aggressive are not opposites, or on any kind of spectrum. Just because a lot of guys are aggressive jerks or nice but shy doesn't mean they have to be that way.
I'd say that being a little aggressive and confident for a man is almost the equivalent of being physically attractive in a woman. Do guys prefer nice girls, or hot girls? They like girls who are hot AND nice. The reality is that most guys would date a hot but not so nice girl over a nice but ugly girl. But that doesn't mean they don't like nice - they _like_ nice but they are only attracted to hot. They want both.
Women are only attracted to confident guys (generally). They _prefer_ for those guys to be nice, but being attractive is a higher requirement in a dating relationship then being pleasant and caring.
This has nothing to do with people being shallow. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ATTRACTED TO YOUR PARTNER.

I'm neutral, I'm nice when i want to be but aggressive when i have to be. there is no sense in being aggressive all the time. Just as there is no sense in being nice all the time. I still attract the mentally unstable.

I really like a combination of both...I like an aggressive guy who can also be nice, or visa versa.
Anyone who is all or nothing to the extreme is not gonna work for me.

Nice - aggressive is only good when in a bad situation so I'd rather not have a guy that is predominantly aggressive.

proven fact, woman always go for the aggresive guy. I am one of the few nice guys in the world who watch and wait as every nice girl goes out with a**holes who screw them over in the end. NICE GUYS FINISH LAST. I hate it but its so true.
