All of the oil in it is probably clogging your pores. Try using a mineral powder instead of your foundation and the breakouts should stop.
Also: Always remember to take your makeup off before you go to bed!!!

Maybe too oily? Try a water-based foundation (Clinique Superfit is terrific). Also, lightly moisturize with an oil-free moisturizer before the foundation...this way, the foundation does not soak into your pores to clog them.

Mine did the same thing. It's the pore-cloggin oils. I started using Maybelline Pure Makeup as my foundation. it is water-based, with no oils, and believe it or not, you can put regualr makeup od over it, as long as it's not too heavy and oily. They have a great line, and my skin cleared up fast. You can even wear it overnight, althougn it's still not recommended. it's not expensive, either and wears well through the day. (No, i'm not a sales woman, I just got tired of crappy makeup!)

You know it might not be your foundation, it just might be the utensil you use to put on your make-up. How often do you change it? The bacteria from your utensil transfers to your foundation, which transfers to your skin.
Wearing hypodermic wearing make-up that don't clog your pores is great...but keeping that utensil clean is greater....

It's not the right foundation for you. In fact, you may even be allergic. Find a different foundation.
Good luck!

There is a chemical in your foundation that your skin does not like, or is maybe reacting with your facial moisturizer (esp if you have any type of spf, alpha-hydroxy acid or other facial treatment in either your moisturizer or foundation).

It might be contaminated with bacteria. get an oil free one that has a pump so that you don't get your fingers into the foundation before you put it on your face.

It is too thick and oily for your skin! You need something oil-free and light. Clinque has good stuff and So does Mary Kay, Both are oil free.
