It could be due to the sunburn years ago. It could also be a rash. Have you changed soaps or lotions recently? Try not to use anything you didn't use before you noticed it and see if it goes away. You might want to visit a dermatologist to check it out and make sure you don't have anything from sun damage.

Showering three times a day is probably what you should not be doing! Are you really that dirty?
You strip the skin of it's natural oils and the naturally occuring bacteria, every time you wash and you dry the skin out if you use a perfumed or alcohol based cleanser, this causes problems from simple occasional spots to an excema condition.
It has nothing to do with getting badly sun-burned though! The only long term affect of that would be a slightly increased risk of melanoma in latter life.

I dont think its to do with that sunburn. I had this a few years ago, plus the backs f my arms are always colder than the rest of my body. So i think its a circulation thing and ive seen it on many other people too. I think that some of us get these little pimply spots there and others dont. Try moisterising now and then in that area to see if dry skin was casuing it.

I don't think it's anything to worry about! i had a few as i was growing up and my arm got hairier (makes me sound like a gorilla!) but they've died down in the last couple of years. I think it's just part of growing up!!

If you had sunburn that badly, it might be a good idea to see a doctor to check if there's any skin damage than needs to be treated - showering too much will tend to dry the skin and could make it worse. Good luck

It could help just by exfoliating gently everyday with a body brush (wilkinson's do them for about £2). I'm sure its nothing serious. Probably just a mini eczema type thing. Showering 3 times a day could actually be drying out the skin making it worse so maybe try showering just once a day.

Showering 3 times a day is way too much. You are doing damage to your skin's natural abilities to produce oils and heal itself. This may be considered an obsessive/compulsive disorder.

As for the red dots/spots, if they are small, flat (non-raised) and cherry red, then the are most likely angiomas, which are hereditary and nothing to worry about. But just to be sure, you may want to see a dermatologist.

My son had this problem when he was your age, the doctor said that due to your body changing it is like a acne, and he was producing to much oil, and to be carefull what you use, ie, what soap, shower gel, washing powder etc.
We changed our washing powder to Fairy, and changed all the soap and shower gels to a non perfumed ones.
My son was also given some cream to put on daily, it has now all cleared up and he not had any problems since. Hope this helps you.

EXFOLIATE!!!! i have little raised bumps too, like permanent goose pimples.. all it is, is a build up of dead skin cells.... if you exfoliate regularly...(to begin with, get bath salts and scrub onto affected area, it sounds mad, but works fast) then rub dry with a hard, dry towel.. this shouldd remove dead skin, and give yo smoother arms in a couple of weeks....
just dont over do it.

Either your allergic to a brand of detergant or soap you have been using. um have you switched brands of stuff. or could be the kind of cloths you wear or eat.
BUt MOST IMPORTANTLY GO TO THE DOC . if this is has been going on for more then a few weeks . you need medical assistance before it could not saying it will be deadly
good luck

If you have what I have, it's actually caused by dry skin. Neutrogena has a great cream called Skin Smoothing body Lotion for Bump Minimizing (no kidding). It works quite well. Good luck.
