I TOOK HIM IN TO THE ER FRIDAY WITH A FEVER, THEY GAVE HIM PAIN MEDICINE & ANTIBIODIC. HES NOT BEING HIMSELF HE WONT EAT OR DRINK OR PLAY, AND HE THREW UP A BURNT ORANGE LOOKING STUFF QUIET A FEW TIMES. HE TRIED TO EAT TODAY BUT THREW IT UP.

I would personally take the dog to a diffrent vet, in december i had a very very ill puppy it was lethargic,not pooping,not eating,was drinking though,had high fever,falling over when walking ,broke out in ozzing sores all over body etc, (my normal vet is 2hr drive away) so we took this pup to a vet close by and they didnt do any blood tests etc they told us to give her lots of liquids. well thats just dum . you have to have the dog/pup diagnosed too treat properly. we took this pup to our original vet
and found out she in fact had a serious case of blood poisoning.. she spent weeks in the hospital but is finally doing good . the biggest question is why is he on pain meds and anitbiotics? they should have given you a reason!! there should have been tests done etc. go to a different vet as your poor guy needs some real vet attention seeing as that vet didnt really do much of anything.

Leave your computer RIGHT NOW and go to the vet. Tell him that the treatment is not working. Don't feed him anymore, obviously he's not keeping anything in his stomach. If the vet gives you a new treatment and still it doesn't work, go to another vet. Usually people who work on animal shelters can give tips on good vets.

well I had a problem with my dog being sick and I could not figure it out until I asked a question on here.
Is it a toilet drinker? and if so do you use the bleach tablets or anything else in your toilet?
you could be slowly poisoning it.
It wont show up on poison test b/c it is such a low amount.
Well as soon as I kept the door to the restroom shut and the toilet lid closed it stopped.

Take him back to the ER, and tell them he's not doing any better. They may have to test him to see what's wrong. I would go as soon as possible in case his sickness gets worse.

Take him to the vet again. But they will probably just tell you to keep giving him the antibiotic.

if its a puppy parvo could be the reason and you need to take it to the vet today cause if it is it could die in like a week or 2
