Elizabeth. My point is that you can't use it as evidence, and I DO understand the priciples behind relativity.

Williamzo: Well, none of the gospels were written during the lifetime of any of the people who supposedly saw Jesus, so why would you expect anyone to do as you say?

Why would someone make this up, and then die for it?

Common sense says Paul would NOT say there were eye witnesses alive THIS DAY if there were none. How easy would it be for someone to say show me one of the people and the whole thing would have collapsed right then. But NO ONE challeged it because the story remains.

1 Corinthians 15:5-7

5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

And do you understand the physics behind relativity? Very few do but believe what those who do, and there are not many of them, say. So what is your point?

To the person above me. You try to use an argument one way. but don't like it when the same argument is used against you. Do you know of anyone who saw the big bang? I know you don't. So one more person reports the resurrected Christ than saw the big bang.Do you understand M-theory? I doubt it but do you believe it? Have you seen membranes? No because no one has seen them and they cannot be proved. So don't try to use 'only one person saw it so it is not true' argument unless you are prepared to defend your position better than you have so far.

Atheists...do you realize that you try so hard to disprove believers of Jesus Christ? You have no problems with Pagans, Satanists, Muslims, or any other religion. But you have a problem with Jesus.
I mean you may not agree with those other guys, but you work SO hard to discredit Jesus.
Did you know that Satan trembles at the very name of Jesus? He hates Jesus so much.
Good job for making Satan's job so easy for him. You didn't even know it, did you?

I just wanted to shake your hand sir.

It is the testimony of a follower of an eyewitness to someone saying he heard that someone saw 500 people witness an event.

Yep. And Jimmy Darwin was hanging out with God during creation. He just called it something else. Tons of witness's were hanging out with him when things evolved.

That is true. And the guy that wrote it down probably only heard it through the grapevine himself.
