Try wearing your hair pulled back. in a high bun or in a mid-level pony tail. You could make some bangs or curls to go in the front but for long faces you should pull back.

Hair-styles to suit long faces
If you have straight hair you can create the illusion of width by having a fringe and/or a chin-length bob.
Curls and waves will also create width, but avoid have short layers as these will add volume on top.
If you have straight hair you can create the illusion of width by having a fringe and/or a chin-length bob.
Another trick is to have your hair cut into a v-shape so the length is mainly at the back, whilst the sides and front of your hair are shorter and will fall around your face.
DON'T: create height as this will elongate your face as shown in the photos of Liv Tyler.
Very long or short cuts will also make your face appear longer.
If you like wearing your hair long ie below your shoulders make sure you have a few long layers cut into it, especially around the face-try tis sites-www.tiscali.co.uk,www.thehairstyler.com,www.haircolordiva.com

In the salon, we do several things to minimize the length in someone's face. Bangs or fringe are very helpful in decreasing length and can be personalized to your specific needs. Also, hair cuts and styles that produce minimal volume in the crown and more movement and width in the mid-lengths and ends create the same illusion. Color can also be used to draw the eye away from areas you hope to minimize. Talk to you stylist about the many options, and choose a look that makes you feel beautiful.

See link: the coiffure interior the midsection is, rather, wonderful with a lot layering and a perimeter (bangs?). Layering will upload "physique" making your hair seem thicker (plus you would be wanting a texturizing product).

You should get something short and layer it......you could angle it too. My cousin has a long face and she used to have long hair......when she cut her hair short, and both layered and angled it.....her face looks way less long and it looks really good.......p.s don't go any shorter than chin length.

I have a long face too. I usually get something short (about chin-length) with lots of layers. And get them to frame your face, it makes a HUGE difference!

Properly I'm a boy but I think on us boys, short hair is always better. Long hair doesn't USUALLY show a sign of dominance. You see most other guys with lengthy hair that doesn't look like these people can fight. For example there is actually a boy in my school together with very long blonde hair.
