We call the midday meal dinner, and evening meal tea.

My daughter has "School dinners" so it kinda makes sense.

But then we do have the occassional dinner party in the evening!!

Now I'm confused!!

Thanks alot LOL!!!

When I was a child living on a farm it was supper, now that I'm a city girl it's dinner. Depends on the part of the world or even country you live in, but I know in the USA it's usually dinner. Supper is mostly used in the south and in rural areas, w lunch being called dinner. Confusing is right !!!.

Dinner.
Although it depends on what time you have it!
Before 6pm = Tea. After 9 = supper. During = Dinner

I call the evening meal Dinner as in meat and two veg. type of meal. Tea to me is a sandwich, cake and a cuppa around 4 o'clock.

I say dinner. But when I was growing up, we called it supper. And some people called the noon meal dinner. It could get confusing.

Now it's just breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner for me (in Cali)
