I rescue cats and work with feral cats. I take the cats to the clinic once a week and use it to help keep them calm for the trip. It works wonders and I tell everyone about it. When you have to move or there are other changes taking place that can stress your cat then Feliway is the product to use.
Stress can cause your cat to get sick and sometimes it can be fatal. So I am cautious to make sure the cats are as comfortable as possible.

RE:
Feliway/Felifriend products?
Has anyone tried these products with any success? I have the Feliway diffuser and it seems to have calmed the atmosphere between my two warring cats a little, is this really the secret to happy cats?

The product is a pheremone that has been found and isolated in nursing queens, they use it to relax and reasure their kittens when they are around her, making them feel more safe and comforted.
It can work very well in a range of situations, particulaly ones with high stress levels. As cats are sometimes hard to read and so tell when they are stressed it is nice to be able to plug in na diffuser and make your home a nicer place for them to be.

Yes ive used the Feliway Spray, apparently its a man made hormone for cats in a bottle, but with no ordour or marking. I bought it when i moved house. At first my cat was very happy but when he realised there were other cats in the neighbourhood he began to urinate in the living room, along the wall. I couldnt bare the smell and needed an answer before my home got wrecked anymore. I sprayed low level areas of the house and put a cat tray by the front door, now (touch wood) he seems to be happier.

Yeah, that's why I don't facebook anymore. (when did *facebook* become a verb?) As for Answers, well, most of my answers are pretty worthless anyway. Maybe some entertainment value every now and then since I do tend to crack myself up sometimes..

My cat does seem a little less stressed with feliway, we use it when we travel to a new place etc. But not really calm, he is actually quite active because he is happier!

this product releases pheromones that should help calm your cats, can even help with separation anxiety and litter training problems. we sell it at the vet clinic where i work and have had mixed reviews about it, if it works for you then go with it

Hey - great! Another way to get angry about our ridiculous society! Thanks for sharing... though it is actually a somewhat unusual and interesting way of looking at it. How to succeed: Sell humans without them even realizing they're being sold. Diabolical ingenuity!
