I'm a married 40 year old guy. A few years ago, I said to my wife that I hate body hair because it looks so sloppy. She suggested I try, as a start, shaving my legs. I was hesitent because I didn't want to seem 'girly' or appear gay. After thinking about it, I decided I didn't care what anyone thought anyway! So I did shave my legs. I have to say that I'll never have hair on my legs again!
I work out alot, so it really shows off the muscle tone, and looks good in the summer, or at least my wife thinks so.
So, men WITH hairy legs, or WITHOUT?

Wow. That's a tough one. I don't think I would want my husband to shave his legs. I mean my hubby is not a very very hairy man so it does not bother me. I think a man is supposed to have hair on his legs, a little on the chest and that sexy line of hair my hubby has on his stomach that goes straight down. You ladies know what I mean. LOL. However, I love my husband so if he would feel more comfortable shaving then I will buy extra Venus razors when I'm in the local drug store. My point is if you like and you wife don't mind then go for what you know.

If you are happier hairless then suggest sticking with it. It's important that we are comfortable in our bodies. I might suggest waxing, however, as an alternative to shaving. Shaving can cause irritation, ingrown hairs, and a lot of maintenance. Waxing is wonderful and over time the hair grows back less dense and much finer. The results last a great deal longer too. More inmportantly, you shouldn't feel as though removing your leg hair makes you feminine or girly. Believe more guys do it than you will ever know. Try waxing - you'll love it!

I like some hair on my men but not so much they look like a gorilla. I like my men to actualy look like men. I'm not into the whole metrosexual thing. If your doing more than I am to look good your borderline gay.
Also shaving SUCKS once you start you cant stop and you will be doing it every single day for the rest of your life, and shaving your legs takes a lot more time then shaving the small ammount of hair you would have on your face.

Good question, HOWEVER, the amount of hair DOES matter. I don't like a man who has soooo much leg/body hair that he could become a donor for the hair plug companies if he does shave. I do like hair on a man-a totally hairless leg of man would make me extremely jealous. I have been trying to achieve that goal for years and years!

I like a man whose capable of being hairy - i.e he has the testosterone to grow a decent quantity of hair - however I dont actually like the hair. I prefer the smooth oiled look - its much sexier. Hairy legs are really not sexy on men - just like its not sexy on women! You cannot see the definition, and a pair of hairy legs sticking out of a pair of shorts is unattractive.

Men generally have hair naturally, so I say bring on the hair!
Honestly, some guys have it, some don't. I would never try to get a guy to shave just because I don't like it.
However, if YOU and your wife enjoy it, and you don't mind keeping the shave up, go for it. Its your body!

That's a toughy. I think if your legs are in good shape why not? But also at the same time guys are hairy and it's totally fine to have hairy legs.

thats a hard one. you are right- you shouldn't care what other people thinks. if you like it-then shave them. it does seem a little but more on the gay side rather then straight- but it doesnt matter. i think all guys should- because it does look kinda sloppy!! good luck and congrats having self-confidence =]
