Hi! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for why my hands and face might be swelling up? Possibly lotions, foods, cleaning products, something I could have transfered to my face. I have recently been to the Mayo Clinic and have no allergies once so ever. I am completely stumped..

If the swelling occurs after sun exposure, it may be just a sun sensitivity. If that is the case you should be checked for Lupus, just to rule that out. Otherwise you have a very rare condition. I was able to get over mine by gradual exposure to the sun over a long period of time.

maybe you're allergic to products with sunblock, like PABA..
or or maybe you're using too much detergent in your laundry and it's not getting washed out sufficiently..
