If it is a True Migraine, and Not On Contradictory Meds., Sumatripan (Imitrex).

Like others have said, if you have been diagnosed with them, the triptan drugs like Relpax(eletriptan), Maxalt(rizatriptan), Imitrex(sumatriptan) and others will work best. One might not work well for you, but at least one should. Work with your doctor to figure out the right one. The main drawback with these drugs is their price, on average $10 a pill. And Since everyone likes non-drug treatment, there have been studeis that show a possible link between magnesium deficiency and increased frequency and severity of migraine. Try taking just a simple magnesium supplement and see if it helps.
If you have not been diagnosed with migraines, go see a doctor and figure out exactly what it is that is causing your headaches. There are over 100 causes of headaches, and narrowing it down can make a big difference in treatment and results. As stated earlier, the OTC pain relievers, as well as optiates used to relieve headache pain can cause a rebound headache if taken for long enough.

If you have been diagnosed w/migraines & get them frequently, you should see a neurologist to see what treatment/meds are best for you if you are able. I used to take Excedrin Migraine all the time until my doctor said to get off of it completely & never take it again. She said I was getting rebound headaches from Excedrin. In other words, it was causing the migraines because I took it so much. After trying many medications, I found Fiorinal works best for me. It has to be prescribed by a doctor and it is not for everyone. I found it relieves my pain the fastest. Best wishes!

Excedrin

The one that works for you. Sorry, but there are lots of options because none is remarkably better than others in its class (and as there are different ways to skin a cat, there are different classes of drugs). It's often a trial-and-error process finding what's best, because different people are different.
