I made a coupon book for my boyfriend, and he loved it! Plus, I didn't spend a lot of $ on something he may or may not have liked.
I put in things like- no garbage duty for 1 week, 10 min back massage, 5 min foot rub, etc.
I added some naughty stuff too, it was great!

a kiss, not like a romantic kiss. just a million little pecks. when me and my ex were together thats what she would do for me. she'd make sure i was in a good mood, tackle me, and smother my face/neck with kisses. best gift i ever got.

How long have you been with him? How old is he? I find one thing that is usually good is take him out for a really great dinner to celebrate. Enjoy the time together.

More details baby, type of guy, how long you've been dating....those are minor things that matter. But i agree every guy loves their fav. meal cooked at candle light. Good idea!
