It has more than !25 thou. miles, bought it used.when I start it up again it sputters and hesitates until it takes off. HELP!!!

When was your last tune up?? Check your battery, alternator and spark plugs and wires. Check all your fluids. Check the air and fuel filters.

First you want to have a charging system check. This includes checking the battery, the cable ends, the alternator, and any drive belts (alternator, power steering, a/c). If all of those are good then when was the last time you had a tune up done. This usually includes the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor, fuel filter, PCV valve and EGR valve. Change fuel filter. Try dry gas you may have water in gas or lastly fuel pump. Carb or fuel injector cleaner may help also.

Sounds like a fuel injection problem....either fuel pump/filter or carburetor.

You have a problem with one of the sensors controlling the ECU - have a dealer check for fault codes - this will tell you the problem
