Asking someone here to help you pick a religion is probably not they best place to go. You're sure to get argument, but no one can choose your religion for you. Most of these Q&A users are just venting at each other, not the best place to find an accurate account of religions.

This is a question that you need to discover on your own. Why not try going to different churches and speak to the pastor, rabbi, or whatever. They can give you a good idea about what their religion is about. It's kind of hard for people to list everything about their religion on here. Look them up on the internet. I've listed some websites below about the different religions.

First you need to decide if you accept the Bible as the inspired word of God. If you do, there are several bible-believing religions out there for you. Pick one that seems to speak to you personally when you attend their service. If you believe the Bible, then you'll soon realize that eternal life comes to those who have faith that Christ's sacrifice on the cross is what allows us to stand before God without sin and be eternally with Him in Heaven and the next world.

Go to Beliefnet.com They have all kind of information about dozens of different religions, with brief explanations about what is necessary to know about each one, then you can broaden your information on-line about the ones you'd rather the most; they have a list of places to go to practice your chosen religion and also sites to talk about them. Christianity - you need to know that Jesus Christ loves you and that He is your savior ... He will ALWAYS be by your side no matter what .... no matter what the world says, I know for a fact that He has always been there for me. He died on the cross for your sins and loves you w/ all of His heart... accept him into your life and watch your life get better day by day....

i wished the same thing and bought an awesome book i highly recommend: The Wrold's Religions by Huston Smith. he presents their fundamental beliefs and all in their best light..i'd post a link for you to look at it but i got reported once for doing that so just go to amazon or something
