I am a 35 year old mom and my 16 year old son is a 10th grader. He had his winter sports program from his high school sitting on the desk in his bedroom. I was looking at it since he is a wrestler and wanted to see his picture. When I turned the page, it was stuck together. I then finally ripped the pages after trying and it was a picture of the schools cheerleaders. Now, my son walked in and saw me and then ran away from embarrassment. He hasnt said a word in 2 days. Do you think he did something wrong? I never assumed the pages were stuck for a reason. I

I think you should just let it drop. Is it really that important to bring it up? Maybe it was coincidental.

He may have been masturbating over the picture of cheerleaders and spilled on the page, so it stuck together. You should talk to him about it and say that as his mother you understand about these things and that his behavior is normal and he does not have to be embarrassed about it. That is what most boys his age would do and you know that and it is not wierd or any thing. It is okay to be embarrassed, but it is not that big of a deal. You have been through all those kind of things as a young girl and you know all about those kind of things about young boys. He is okay and you are okay with it. It is something he should keep private, but not be ashamed about it. He should try to control these urges and not masturbate too much, but don't let it be a big deal in his life. Just keep busy with other things and don't think a lot about it.

First of all, I feel you should not have invaded your son's privacy. I have a grown son, and I would never invade his space, nor did I when he was a teenager. Teenage boys are funny creatures. Then I would apologize, and let it go at that. He may have been doing something that, perhaps, he shouldn't have been. Also, when you make your apology, let him know that if HE wants to talk, you'd be happy to talk to him about it.

Let it go. Even if they were stuck together for a specific reason, he is 16, they do that often.

Just try not to bring it up, maybe have dad talk to him about it being okay and healthy... don't ever make him think that masturbating is wrong.

Tell the poor lad that it is alright to punch the clown everyone does it. Just keep it to yourself when you do it, also tell him you weren't trying to snoop it was a complete coincenence that you found the peel a potato chip page of cheerleaders. :oP

I don't think what he was doing was wrong, he's at the age where he's curious about sex and his body. Let this one lie and never be embarassed if your son feels like he wants to talk to you about sex. At this age 16 year olds appreciate being treated like an adult.

I don't think he did anything wrong but you going in his room and tearing the picture apart was. Why didn't you just ask your son to see the pics. If I was to bring it up I would tell him I was sorry next time I will ask you.

You violated his privacy. I'm afraid basically about all you really can do is say nothing about it because the only thing talking about it will do is make the situation get worse.

I think you should appologize to your son for entering his room without his permission. He is old enough to need privacy for very embarrassingly apparent reasons. I would not mention those reasons as his teenage ego is probably wounded enough.

You ask any man who is older, and they will be lying if they told you, they never masturbated. Your son is going through puberty. He's spanking it every chance he can. I wanked it so much on my mom's fur coat, it doesn't need a hanger anymore!
