Christ was made man by the power of the Holy Spirit in the most pure womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM). He was conceived and made manwhen Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she was to be the Mother of God. Christ was born 2000 years ago. The BVM is the woman blessed among all others and chosen by God to become the Mother of God. Since Mary was a virgin Mother, St. Joseph was the foster father of Jesus & legal husband of Mary and head of the Holy Family.
--------What? useless Christian doctrine? Not logical? too stupid to be true?-------ok here's the logical part (yet in reality all parts of this answer is logical)--------
1) Q: Ok. So if Jesus is man and man was only created by God after creation, then Jesus cannot be God and man at the same time because God already existed before time.
A: From both philosophical reasoning and Scripture, Christ must be equal to the Father God. God told Moses: I AM WHO AM. God is self existent and source of all being. If the son is one in being with God then his name as well should be I AM. I AM is precisely the name Christ had given to himself: BEFORE ABRAHAM EVER WAS, I AM.
2)Q:MAry did not bear the Mother of God. The human did not bear the Creator...but the man, He whowas formed in the womb of Mary was not God himself. God assumed him. How can she be the Mother of God who is of a diferent nature from herself?Christs humanity is merely a garment which God puts on.Mary conceived and bore that fleshly garment.
A:Mary is Mother of God because a mother is a mother of the person not the nature of the person.Jesus had 2 natures human/divine. ergo, mary is mother of the divine part and the human part and deserves the title MOther of God.
3)Q:If Christ is God then he is not truly man. Its only his appearance of a human body.God would never go down to our level.
A:Jesus Christ is God because he is the only son of God and having the same divine nature of his Father.Jesus is Man because he is the son of the blessed virgin Mary and has a body and soul like ours. What is man? Man is a being composed of a rational soul and body.Since man could not save himself from sin,God in his infinite wisdom became man to ultimately sacrifice himself because only a Extremely Great sacrifice&love would open the gates of heaven. However man still sins because we abuse free will.
However Jesus only became man at the time of incarnation.

God never became a man. He's always been what he's been. He sent his son Jesus from Heaven to become a man on Earth so that he may suffer and die for us so that we may be saved.

A majority of the biblical translators of antiquity were chauvenist perverts who altered their writings as they saw fit. So, any mention of God was contexted to be understood that God was a man.
God is really a woman. I mean, c'mon. The human race as a whole screws up so much and so often, only a Mother can forgive those actions. :)

Luke1: 27
An angel came to a girl never having been married and a [v]virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28And he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one [[w]endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! [x]Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women!
29But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.
30And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace ([y]free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.
31And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.
32He will be great (eminent) and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His forefather David,
33And He will reign over the house of Jacob throughout the ages; and of His reign there will be no end.(G)
34And Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I have no [intimacy with any man as a] husband?
35Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God.(H)
36And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren.
37For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
38Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.
