The amount of work that you would have to put into this would not justify the little returns in money. If you want to get paid minimum wage with no benifits, go work at Walmart.

Why not set up a program in your school where students can give their books to you in the hope of selling it....if you do sell it you take a percentage...if you can't sell it, they get their book back...
Everyone wins, the student will get more off this than if he were to sell to the school, the student buying will win because he'll pay less than if he were to buy at the bookstore, cause the school will mark it up...and you win because you get a percentage...oh and there was no stealing, lol.

That is not stealing it is a free market but just understand that you won't be able to sell every book that you buy so you won't make as much money as you think you will unless you have a very large student population to sell too.

My hope is you buy all those used books. When the time comes for you to sell them I hope the university has changed the text book for that semester or year and you are stuck with ALL of them.

yes, it is possible. at times, you don't times you don't have to buy the books from someone. Usually, schools don't buyback books that have students bought for the classes. So, they discard them. You, the enterpriser, could just take them and advertise them over the internet. I am sure some student from a different school could use a good edition book.

I know some people that do that... I sell my books back on half.com
It would be cool though if people start selling back their notes, with their exams to other people ;)

Most colleges have a used book exchange set up to do exactly that. If you think you can undercut them, then why not?
