i fell for a close friend ..but he says i can get any guy i want..but yet i can't get him..serious answers

We have a close clique of friends in college..about 6 of us and we are always together..

I am not trying to be boastfull or concieded or anything but..ALOT of guys like me..iono why..they just say i look exactly like a final fantasy character or japanese anime..but thats not the point..

I don't care how many guys like me it doesnt matter to me..because i fell for one of my close friend that i always see everyday..i am crazy about him..and He told me he likes me too...but i am too pretty for him..and we are just not compatible and i can get anyone i wan't..

but we are compatible we get along soo well..How can i change his mind? or should i just forget about him?

First of all, I'm sorry you are having a problem. Have you told him you just want him? If you have and he is still against it, you need to get over him. Clearly he isn't smart enough to see a really great girl who happens to be his friend. Come to think of it, he might be afraid that if you guys have a relationship and it goes bad the group of friends will be effected. You need to find that out. Use your judgement. If you don't like something he is saying, don't persue him.
