is there any major that doesn't involve programming at all? i do not dislike the course, i'm just curious! :)

Courses that specifically mention programming will require computer programming. But most engineering courses don't require it especially since their are many applications programs like MatLab etc that have already done the basic computer programming for you.

Last I saw, Civil engineering, but you make up for it with more math. Get used to it every engineer is going to have to do some coding now. Just the way things are.

How about Software Engineering??

They have to rip out a few lines of code from time to time.
