Yeah? And you are a dirty liar too. Did anyone ever tell you that? IF you EVER saw Ali fight... it would stick in your head. You wouldn't say something like that. If you saw it it was only on TV. And I wasn't born until a month b4 '80. So I wasn't there. I do not understand why you'd ask that. Here is an honest idea for you. If you are unsure about your facts, go to www.boxrec.com I don't mean to be mean, but "Jimmy Johnson"... come on. You really must be joking.

Considering it was Jimmy Young, not Jimmy Johnson who beat Ali and got robbed, and it was "boxing" after all, a sport known for "questionable" decisions, no it was not a disgrace, it was just business as usual in Vegas, a town not known for it's honest to begin with.

Lone Wolf ~
Bludevil's right, Ali fought Jimmy Young in Landover, Maryland in 1976. The decision was so bad that most if not all sport writers present had Johnson leading the fight by a least three rounds. There was a boxing writer by the name of Lester Bromberg who wrote for Ring Magazine, the number one boxing magazine in print at the time and he called it "A travesty of a decision" and refused to cover any of Ali's fights.

Jimmy Young is the only boxer with the name "Jimmy" that ever came close to beating Ali as a professional. There was a boxer by the name of Jimmy Ellis who beat Ali as a amateur and fought Ali as a pro, Ali knocked him out in round 12. (1975) and real early in his career there was Jimmy Robinson, Ali knocked him out too and that was in Miami Beach, Florida (1961) Those are the only Jimmy's.

Thanks for the question Lone Wolf.

Are you referring to Jimmy Young perhaps? I saw that fight too and had Young not kept ducking his head out of the ring when Ali got close to him, he very well may have won. Many people thought that Young was robbed that night as Young was clearly better that night in my opinion.

I do not know what fight you are referring to but the last fight Ali had in Las Vegas was against Holmes. Ali lost.
