I write jokes and want to get paid for supplying them to standup comedians, what is the best way to do this, i do not want to do stand up myself. Do comedians buy material?

ANY good stand up will write his own material. If they can't they shouldn't be in comedy

some comedians.. not all.. but i've sold 1 or 2 to tv hosts.. drama actors, and college students majoring in acting, stage shows..

just get in contact with their agent.. give them an email or something.. but they are tricky people.. money first, then joke! give it a try.. you have nothing to lose! all the best!

Woody Allen started his career this way. You should probably try and sell your material to unfunny people, i.e chat and game show hosts etc. Contact their agents but don't give them anything 'til you see the money...
