Cut the pop for one. It's not easy, trust me. (I'm giving it up for Lent this year and I'm just dying) But, it's totally worth it and you'll see a big difference. My sister's been doing that for a few months already and she's really slimmed down. It's okay to have a treat once in a while just to satisfy your sweet tooth but keep it to once in a while.
And, try and stay active as much as possible. It can be hard in the wintertime. The weather turns crappy and you only want to lay around under the blankets. Even if it's something simple like taking the stairs instead of the elevator somewhere.
And, any workouts you do, I usually find it's more enjoyable if you go with friends. My BF and I try to go swimming every Saturday at the rec center in my town. And, my mom and I are going to start going to the weight room and walking the track during the week.
Hope this helps and good luck.

If you're looking for an easy way out, there's none. You need to be really strict in what you eat at least until you have lost the pounds you want to lose. Eat everything you want but in small portions, cut down on all Chocolate, donuts and anything made with flour. Cut down on your salt intake and increase your water to 8-10 glasses a day. You need to get rid of all the toxins in your body, including the yeast that cloggs your cells. Also you need to increase your activity, walk stair, go for walks at least 4 times a week. For fast food, eat the burger but no fries or a burger and salad, go easy on the dressing.
I went on a cleanse and lost in 3 days 5 pounds, ate 5 meals a day and was never hungry but no sugar and no salt. lots of veggies, 2 -3oz servings of meats, and as a carb only brown rice, you can have 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter or olive oil with your meals. Check out your health food store for cleanses, not only do you do your body a favour, but you eat healthy and lose weight in the process.

Give Weight Watchers a try. They have revamped their system so you can have anything -- literally anything -- in the world to eat, so long as you count it. Their points program assigns a certain number of points to foods based on total calories, amount of fiber and amount of fat in the food. Then, users are allotted a certain number of points per day with a "reserve" of 35 extra points per week. The system allows you to learn a healthy way of eating and exercising without depriving yourself of anything you like.
The points, by the way, teach you what to eat, how much to eat, etc. They also teach about involving physical activity into your lifestyle without killing yourself.
The meetings are great, too, because you have a group of people of all sizes doing the same thing you are. They can help you with recipes, low-point products on the market, tips for getting through tough times, moral support for when things are rough, and applause when you are successful. Changing your lifestyle with others helps so much -- you know you aren't alone in it.
By the way, I am NOT a spokesperson for Weight Watchers in any way other than I started the program myself a week ago and am amazed at how easy it is. (And now, a week later, I am 5 pounds lighter.)

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body sculpting so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! Be realistic.
Burn more calories than you intake by exercizing in a way and amount that burns fat without building muscle.
This means walking at a slow pace for 20 minutes a day.
Eat much less
Stay active , keep busy . Everything burns calories, even a hot bath. Sitting around will tend to make you want snacks. and you burn nothing.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

I hate to say it, but it sounds to me like you are either lazy, or not serious about weight loss. Guess what???? FAST FOOD IS BAD FOR YOU!!! Sorry to break the news. If you want to loose weight, yeah, you're going to have to work out hard.....if it isn't hard, then your not doing enough. And, you have to eat veggies, fruit, whole grains, lean mets, and very few dairy and NO sugars or fats. It sucks but its the only way......trust me, there is no shortcut to looking hot, if there were, everyone would be sexy.
