The Prophet Muhammed (saw) said: My Ummah will be divided into 73 sects & only 1 sect will be the right one
The Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) said
"The Jews split into 71 groups; one will enter Paradise and 70 will enter Hell. The Christians split into 72 groups; 71 will enter Hell and one will enter Paradise. By Him in Whose Power is the life of Muhammad, without doubt, my Ummah will be divided into 73 groups. Only one will enter Paradise and 72 will enter Hell."
When asked which group will be on the right path, the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) replied, "The main (al-Jama'ah) body of the Muslims." [Ibne Majah Kitab al-Fitan]
1) I would like to know which is the largest muslim group ? I have heard the Sunni's are the largest, if anyone has solid information that will tell me the truth, please share it with me.

It says main. Not largest. Main. Main would be those who followed the Quran with a pure heart, and who were able to discern true hadtihs from false hadiths by comparing them with the Quran. Not adding to Islam, not taking from it. Not oppressing women and denying them their rights (common today and not the ones on the path to paradise). It will be those who really did do their very best. That includes men.

1. - I believe that many people sometimes confuse the Sunni with True Islam because it is the path closest to True Islam. The only "sect" that will achieve Paradise will be the True Muslims, who follow the word of the Prophet (saw), and not one of his successors.
2. I don't think it mentions that the largest group will be the right group. If that were always the case, then the Christians would be right just by sheer numbers.
3. There are too many too give a full list, but the major groups are:
Sunni, Shi'a, Al-Qaeda, Nation of Islam, and many others.

Nah, not from any faculties. certainly, we've the common Islamic examine interior the Pakistani faculties, yet I had already examine that lots in books, so it wasn't lots extremely. however I did as quickly as do a direction interior the vacations on the subject of Tawhid---approximately 2 months. that's it. My mum and dad? Upto a definite volume...they continuously attempt their desirable to fulfill my questions on the subject of Islam as quickly as I ask them. as a rule books, and lectures. yet I continuously attempt to count upon the Quran and hadiths to choose what I hear or examine. That way, i'm oftentimes able to tell if it sounds superb. now and returned, i'm getting extremely tousled and puzzled. Getting ill of 'fatwas' extremely...get to work out further and added absurd ones each and on a daily basis. some would call me a "Salafi". skill, I matter on the Quran and Sahih hadiths, and prefer to locate it is interpretations from the Sahaba, Tabiyeen and Tab'aa Tabiyeen (the Salaf us Saliheen). certainly, the Salaf are very first rate, yet they don't look to be prophets...If something they are saying or do which works against the Quran and Sahih hadiths, that's to not be taken. will not be able to fee my wisdom myself...

No, who said it will be the largest group?,he didn't say that, what he said is that the group which will go to heaven is the group which follow in the prophet and his companions footsteps.
Note:the sunni is the largest nowadays, but in the future it might be not.

It is interesting to see the different splits that happen in all religions. Sunni's claim they are closest to the prophets teachings, Shiite's say they are closest, it is all in the interpretation. The Christians and Jews do the same things.....As a result thousands of human beings are murdered and killed by all of these people arguing theology.
At what point will you all sit down and realize that these belief systems are poisoning your souls? If you are convinced that your belief is the only way to heaven, and your God is willing to condemn millions of people to their deaths because of where they were born or what they were taught by their parents, why don't you question your God's teachings? Is it because you were taught that you are not to questions God's will? That sounds right, but you are taught God's will by other men. What if they have it wrong? There are thousands of terrorists who believe that their God wants them to murder innocent people to further his will. There were thousands of Christians in Serbia, who thought it was God's will to exterminate muslims. Were they right? Are the terrorists right? Hopefully you think they are mislead. But if such determined people can be misled, why not you?
If your religion, damns most of Mankind to hell or non-existence, are you a believer because you like to think you are one of the chosen few? Does it make you feel special? Is the eternal damnation of millions of people worth that feeling?

Praise be to Allah.
I advise you sister to do what Allah and prophet Mohammed (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) orders you to do and leave what Allah and his greatest and last messenger (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) orders you to leave. And this is the base of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah.
We have been told by the Creator of Heaven of the qualities of those who will go to Heaven. We read in Verse 40 of Surat Ghafer (interpretation of the meaning): "...and he that works a righteous deed – Whether man or woman – And is a believer – Such will enter the garden (of bliss): therein will they have abundance without measure".
We also read in Verses 13 and 14 of Surat al-Ahqaf (interpretation of the meaning): (Verily those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and remain firm (on that path), - On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve (13) Such shall be companions of the garden, dwelling therein (for aye): a recompense for their (good) deeds. (14)).
And in Verse 60 of Surat Maryam, or Mary (interpretation of the meaning): ("Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for those will enter the garden and will not be wronged in the least. (60) )
All those who submit to Allah, do what He asked and avoid what He proscribed will go to Heaven.
And in this link you can find characteristics of the Victorious Group: Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah
