Honey, I had a life of misery. My mother was very abusive. When I turned 18, I moved across the country, joined the Army and have never regretted it. If you are able to change your life, move away, etc. I say go for it. If you do have a life of misery, how could things get any worse? There are always people out there who are willing to help; even people you don't know.

Make sure you watch in the direction you are running so you don't run off some cliff or something.

If you take an impartial view (be very rational) and think about what you would tell somebody else to do in terms of improving their life (focus on career goals, general self improvement), then that's the direction you should run toward... if running is the best thing to do.

only if you could run that fast!!

It would be more worth it to fix all the misery, or be counceled over the misery and then just grow up and move on.

Why run when you can make the person that made you miserable just as miserable as you are just by staying. Misery loves company that's why people tend to make other peoples lives full of misery.
