She doesn't want a no string relationship anymore. She wants something more, and she is hoping you will go for it.

You're right! She's confused. I think she's not comfortable with being your sex buddy anymore. If it's purely sex, I agree with the other person who answered, there is no talking. No discussion, just enjoyment. If you two are friends, that's a whole different problem. If not, maybe ask your sexy sex buddy (lol) if she wants to take a break for a while.

Maybe she was just trying to figure out how you felt about the arrangement. Rather than ask you directly, she stops, says she wants out, just to see what you'd say. You agreed, sounds like without hesitation. Could have scared her.

Either way, she's confused. Talking emotionally to a "sex buddy" will get difficult quickly.

This is classic...she's starting to have feelings for you beyond your initial "sex only" relationship. It could be an assortment of things going on - if you are spending time with her outside of the bedroom hook up (big mistake) - or if you are showing her more affection than just "sex" (holding her, tickling her, rubbing her feet or back) or if you yourself are beginning to have and show feelings for her; any or all of these could be working to make her feel more. Women are different than guys - you can hump a woman for years and feel no closer to her than you did the first time you "hit it", but women are designed to "couple" and nurture and sooner or later, we start to want more. That's why it's a huge mistake for women to try to have "sex only" relationships like men - we just aren't made up for that. It'll work for a little while, but if prolonged -with the same man - eventually it falls apart. If you want nothing more from her than what you have, I suggest you end it now. Even if today she says she's okay with it, tomorrow she won't be and it'll keep going on and on until someone (her) gets hurt. Please don't tell her to "get lost" just tell her you think it's best if you both moved on.

Most often women get the feeling that being in a sex only relationship makes them a bad girl. So, it's hard to stay focused and realize that she's getting what she wants and its OK.
Then there is the chance that she's developing feelings for you and don't know how to end it.
Also, she be wanting you to act more interested in her. Try not be distant during sex. Most guys don't understand that women want passion even when in a strictly sex situation.
Either way, she'll forever want to have sex with you so tapping it until she stops coming over.

Is it possible that she may be starting to have feelings for you? Think about it - if she is and she tells you, then there's a chance it'll end. If she keeps quiet, then (in her mind) there's a chance you may start to come around and start to feel the same way. It's confusing for her (in this senerio) - she doesn't want to give you up, but at the same time she wants more.

Try asking her and see what she has to say about why she's going back and forth on this decision.

yep you hooked a live one there, she's got feelings!?!?
Also she's checking that you aren't getting too attached.
"Sex buddy" you idiot, a mans concept of a sex buddy and a womans concept of a sex buddy are totally different things. Men are geared to shag as many women as possible. Women shag as sex buddies because they are messed up in the head. Lucky you, you found a messed up chick who deals with her problems by shagging. It is her own form of self mutilation, and you are lucky enough to be getting the benefits. If it aint you that she's shagging it'll be someone else. You just have to watch out for the fatal attraction thing, if she suggests tying you up to the bed, check under the mattress first for an ice pick.

Well Maybe she just didn't want to do anything at that time. If she was referring to kissing. Just sit down and talk to her about it, or if you don't want to then dont. Just let her know that you aren't trying to be a sometimes thing. If you like just being sex buddies then just stick it out or let her go. She seems a little confused but it doesn't seem like a big deal. If it seems to happen again and again you should just let her go

She was testing you to see if you really cared for her. She said lets end it to see if you would just go on with your life. Then when you said "OK". She was probably frustrated that you could let go so quickly so she changed her mind. If you don't want plans in the future with this girl besides sex then you better get rid of her. She is becoming attached.

She is your sex buddy! So what if she's a little wishy-washy at times. What an ungrateful little twit you are! Get over it and be thankful that you have a sex buddy!
