Do people honestly beleive that we will go to War with Iran? I have my theory that the political situatuion we are in now is part of a larger scheme..,.After all, after 1991 it took the Americans 12 years to come up with a sorry exscuse to illegally invade Iraq...all of which I might add was for Oil.
If the whole Iran situation is over their harbouring aspects of being a nuclear country, why dodn't America in the build upon of things stop India , Pakistan, North Korea...is it because none of these have anything that is of value to Amrica ie: Oil/Gas.
People seem to forget that just over 2 years ago India & Pakistan eack had 1 million troops on the Kashmir border....I find that more terryfying than Iran's nuclear "HOPES"

And Yes we are Also Fighting For Oil , What part of that confuses the you?
America is concerned with the Worlds FREE Market Economy. The free Flow of Commodities IS a premier Function to assure the Stability of these Free market economies. When a madman like Saddam controls TOO much of that commodity he can force prices to rise crushing the poor and creating instability in the countries of the world causing revolutions and civil wars. We As a Country with vast interest in keeping stability and Free Flow of world trade along with 30+ nations with similar concerns acting under the Authority of the UN took action. All war has been fought for Land or goods. This was and Is a Legal war.
Iran is going forward with plans for a Nuke to wipe out Israel and we will make sure it never happens!

And we stupid asshole Americans will shove a boot up your pusswad a ss

what about the 17 UN resolutions. and as far as it being for oil, would it have not been easier to invade venezuela. and i do not think anyone would care about iran being a nuclear power. i think the mistrust is based on the twenty plus years of a clandestine nuclear program. the fellow out of pakistan that sold them secrets and maybe the little incident in 1979 concerning hostages. i am not saying the way we went in to iraq was right but it was not completely wrong. even hillary believed in, and voted for, the war. and as far as it being for oil. you are right to the extent that if oil stops flowing from the region, get ready for 10-15 dollars a gallon for gas. i am sure the people of ameica will suffer more than the politicians or oil companies.

Eh, the war with Iraq was probably more about pressuring Iran and tricking the Arab world into attacking itself (which it's doing wonderfully, btw). If it were about oil, I'd like to know why gas prices aren't down.

Unfortunately, we probably are just having a "cold war" with Iran. Big talk, lots of empty threats, etc.

1 million troops on the Kashmir border don't bother me as much as radicals with nuclear weapons. Who cares about Kashmir?

It will happen in less than a year. I only hope we don't have to destroy the entire country. I feel sorry for the people of Iran as they will have serious hardships to bear in the near future. America will not hold back on Iran when the conflict comes to a head.. Their time as a terrorism sponsoring nation is coming to an end. The world will soon be safer... as Iran's ability to murder innocent men, women and children will soon be over.

God bless America.

Well Iran has threatened west and Israel so America doesn't want any risks. Iran is definitely wanting nuclear for weapons for this reason, in Isfahan, they are making a complex to convert uranium ore into hexafluoride gas, which can make nuclear war heads, it can also be used to fuel reactors, but why would Iran need this chemical if their reactors are a different type and dont need this chemical?

Illegal War? What? I'm sorry. But, you have to do better than that. The War was declared a legal action by the Congress of the United States of America. Use the link below for a full text copy of Public Law 107-243, passed Oct. 16, 2002. Go become educated before you spout ignorance, making yourself an embarassment to the public.

The government won't go to war with Iran.. It will stretch out the military too much and Congress will never give authorization... The U.S. doesn't want Iran to get nuclear weapons because we are not allies..

I'm with KidDyno, on this one. PNAC (Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Doug Feith, Jeb Bush, Donald Rumsfeld) was foaming at the mouth about global domination back in the mid 90's. There's nothing new here.

Yes and those a***hole Iranians would deserve it. They want to wipe other countries off the map so they'll get what's coming them. It'll be worse than the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and the NATO invasion in Kosovo.

I hope there will be no war, but it is hard to predict anything in regards to the assholes in the White House. In any case, as far as I know, Iran has some advanced weapons to defend itself.
