I marinated orange roughy in some cilantro lime marinade on saturday with teh intention of eating it that night or sunday

well, its still in the fridge, covered with aluminum foil and still sitting inthe marinade

it does not smell

would it be ok to cookand eat it 4 days later?

If there is no citrus acid activity or spume ie: foaming it should be
OK but next time use cling film, tin foil could speed up this activity

Not likely. Fish, especially when marinated, can breed bacteria. My rule of thumb is to never eat anything that has been refrigerated more than 3 days in COOKED form. I sure wouldnt risk eating it raw......

I have a 2-3 day time period that it has to be eatin by either being cooked or even left overs. .

I'll bring the wine about 6:30 or so
and after we eat it i will let you know if it is OK or not

If it is merinated and stayed in the fridge and dose not smell i would say it is ok to eat it.

yes it will be ok because of the marinade, but next time use cling film, ok.

it is now pickled and will last up to two weeks fresh uncooked in the fridge .. enjoy!
