Glad to hear it was benign.
Enjoy your life.
Don't worry unless you have a reason to.
Best wishes.

I think that you should worry any time you have a lump in your breasts but since you are nursing that expands the type of problems you may have that are not serious so try not to worry too much. It could be a clogged mammary duct. It happened to me when I was nursing - all I needed was antibiotics. You should nurse from both breasts though. I know it is more comfortable on one side or the other but you should force yourself to do it anyhow.

Be happy you have a good doctor. Don't worry. I nursed all 5 of my babies and I had a lump in my armpit and it was caused by underwire bra and I also have 3 friends that have lumpy breasts and the lumps went away when they stopped drinking any caffein drinks and and stopped eating cholcolate. Can you beleive that. We are what we eat. Hope this helps.

I don't know your age or anything, but if one lump was found, even if it is benign, the doctor presumably just wants to check and make sure there aren't any others. If you don't have a genetic disposition toward cystic breasts, any lumps they find should be tested. I wouldn't worry if I were you; it's most likely just to be sure.

The doctor may be looking for breast cancer or just making sure that there isn't an infection in your breast. I don't think you should worry until the doctor says that you have something. Just relax and enjoy your baby!

You have a lump, its obviously not phantom as they have biopsied it so I would guess they are just checking out any other potential causes?

Your surgeon is simply being cautious; he/she doesn't want to miss anything that could be potentially harmful.
