I do this when I'm stressed or anxious (even when I don't realise I'm stressing). Are you very busy or have a lot on your mind at the moment? Sometimes I find (and I know this trotted out as advice all the time) making a list of the things in your head before you sleep helps. That way you don't stress about forgetting anything and you can see and plan/prioritise what you need to do.

I would suggest going to see a dentist/orthodontist. He would be able to fit you with a plastic splint to go on your bottom teeth to help with the teeth grinding so you wont make yourself bleed or wear your teeth away.

Could it be that you're grinding your teeth? My partner does that & often bites her tongue/cheek.You can find out from your dentist,it may be that your back teeth are out of line & you are grinding to align them.

It is usually a sign of stomach trouble. My mom used to prescribe prune juice, and that always helped with me.
