This is very disconcerting because the BMI charts say I'm overweight but I don't feel or look it. I'm 5'2 and weigh 140 pounds. Usually you would think that was fat but I've always carried my weight very well. I look about 10 lighter than I actually am. I don't have a lot of extra muscle, just the regular amount. My fingers barely touch when I measure my wrist if I squeeze so I might be large framed, maybe medium.

Does anyone know how to find out if I'm at a healthy weight without using the BMI charts? Those just don't seem accurate to me.

If your fingers don't touch, you are probably large framed, which would explain why you appear 10lb lighter than your actual weight. Being large framed doesn't mean you will necessarly look bigger, there is only about a fraction of an inch difference between a large framed wrist and a medium framed wrist, but it does mean you may weigh 5lb-10lb more.

You could have your body fat percentage tested to be certain. But if that is not convenient, just go by clothes size.
