I have come of my tablets what i have been on for 2 and a half years .Im feeling very dizzy and feeling very wierd is this normal.

It is normal to have withdrawl symptoms when coming off antidepressants, especially when you have been on them for a long time.

You need to keep your GP informed, so it might be worth making an appointment to let him know what symptoms you are having.

If you get worried, you can call NHS direct on 08454647, and they will be able to advise you.

I have been on and off various types of antidepressants, and I've found that my withdrawl symptoms tended to be dizziness, confusion and naseau. They lasted about 3 weeks each time.

Yes, Any sudden withdrawal from long term medication will cause side effects - just try to persevre if you can, but if it gets too much - go back to your gp

your body is readjusting, you've been so used to the drugs suppressing the depression and now that's all gone your body's just getting used to normality and shouldn't last very long, but see your doctor anyway. it happend to me when i came off mine.
