my son has a science invention project, i would like to know if it is possible, and what would i need to do "graph a piece of one on the other ?"
would it have fruit and what type of fruit would it be blueberry, raspberry or a combonation?

It should be possible... some fruit trees are graphed onto other varieties for the stronger root system.

You will not get a combo fruit - a blueraspberry, but you can get two berries on one bush. You'll just get whatever fruit you had on the branch... for example, if you took a blueberry and attached it to raspberry... you'll still get blueberry from the piece you graphed on and raspberry from the original plant if any part of it was left to grow.

However, I'm assuming you're talking about graphing a bush onto a bush... I don't think graphing a raspberry vine onto a blueberry bush will work, but if you can find a raspberry bush then it has a good chance of working.
