Yes, the scales are very accurate.
They are recalibrated once a week, and they are replaced after a couple of years.
You can buy the scales they use at weight watchers meetings, but they cost around £300.

they aren't totally accurate - they are only calibrated at certain weights (a few pounds) not at 10 stone plus which a lot of people weigh when they first start going to meetings. One thing i noticed that every time new people joined, i miraculously gained a couple of pounds that week when my scales at home said i had lost 2 pounds. Funnily enough, the following week i would have a big weight loss. I think they do it to boost peoples confidence in their first couple of weeks....

Most weight watchers are sure they are rigged up to keep them from going off the program and buying the food for sale. Lol
Of course they are accurate.

It doesn't really matter, as long as you're using the same scale every time to weigh yourself.
Example:
On one scale you're 125 lbs, on the other you're 122.
In a month, you're 120 lbs on the first scale, 117 lbs on the latter.
It doesn't particularly matter which is right, just that you lost 5 lbs.
The important thing is consistency when measuring weight.

Follow the 80/20 rule, which means eating clean 80 percent of that time period and indulging a little 20 percent almost daily.

Keep a food journal along with email it every night to a family member or friend. The accountability will keep a person honest.
