of course there is a God.....humans invented it...if you think there is evidence that God created the heavens and earth, then you are basing your beliefs totally on faith and you are totally rejecting all scientific evidence...if you, use religion as a guide to a moral life, then thats different.......but please, religion (bible) uses absolutely no data and therefore does not explain squat about the natural world...come clean people...its just faith...science requires measurements/data, reproducible results, subject to peer review...and please, dont say "its just a theory" or "theories are disproven all the time"...please...theories are NEVER disproven...first of all, the term "Theory" is a very specialized term in science (such as the Theory of Gravity--please dont tell me you reject that too??)...secondly, science seeks to show evidence to argue against alternative explanations, sort of the last man standing idea, so there is no proof nor disproving anything...never has been, never will be...even if science is totally wrong, it is the right approach to understanding...faith, is the same as refusing to inquire...and that of course is not illegal, but refusing to admit that it is just faith is cowardly

Not enough, to prove that God, doesn't, exist, my friend, because God is the Verb!, and Jesus is part of the Verb, El, isn't a verb, and there aren't new verbs?, so, I my self, call God, with respect and benevolence, HIM, as well that I always use capital letters. Try it your self?, although you don't owe me anything, its for Jesus to decide if your call to HIM, and into HIM, is valuable. To which, Not Sir. I will not agree, although I will give you the opportunity, for you to agree with my self.

Hi my name is "So-and-So" but it would be improper to call me by "the so-and-so", therefore I do not exist?
Also, there are the terms..
The God of all creation, The God of Abraham, Jacob and Issac.
The God of my heart, I'll stop there.
Your supposition is frail.
And no I do not agree, in case you had not figured that out.

We can't say "the god" because God is not a thing.
We can say "the pencil" because a pencil is a thing.
Also we, as His children are supposed to be so close to Him that it naturally seems that we cant refer to Him with His "official" title alone. It is as absurd as calling our biological father as "the father", even though any person can have only one biological father.

I don't know what you mean. I can say "the God." I can say "the mermaid:" but that doesn't mean there are mermaids. There are some animals that I can't pronounce their names, but it doesn't mean they don't exist.

Well... one can, therefore I disagree. It's a purely linguistic point though.

Actually, there are far more convincing reasons to doubt the existence of supernatural beings.
