Maybe, but it is more likely the cheese was bad or you got sick from something else in the salad such as food poisoning.

I think the pencillin reaction would be a rash and trouble breathing, not just vomiting.

Or it could be stomach bug unrelated to the salad.

If you are allergic to penicillin, then the mold in the cheese could certainly be an issue. The mold is grown on wheat spores treated with penicillin. You should try to avoid any mold or fungus type foods, such as gorgonzolla, stilton, and blue cheese, and mushrooms. It could take up to 8 weeks for it to clear your system entirely, but may resolve sooner. You could stir it up with heavy exercise or exertion I hope you feel better soon

It could be. Blue cheese is very strong, it could have some mold type substance in it, which is what penicillin is...call an ask a nurse or someone.

Probably the dressing - I got really sick and vomited on blue cheese dressing years ago. I have NEVER touched the stuff since. It is really gross, I don't know how people eat it.

It might be. Or it might be something else, in light of the recent e. coli scares. Get someone to take you to the hospital!

Good luck!
