Well you could always goto a planned parent hood and get the tests done there, however I believe you have to get parental concent for that if you are under 18. If you goto the hospital they are going to have to tell your parents if you are a minor because the parents again have to concent to any tests. I am sorry this happened to you. You need to tell your parents because you will need some support through this.

First off I'm very sorry this happend to you!! I agree with the others in saying that you need to talk with someone else. It will be a lot better then keeping it botteld inside! I also don't want you to not go to the docter and get checked out becouse you are sure that you don't want anyone to know and people on here are saying that if you go they'll call the cops. If you go in and get checked for STD's and HIV they wont call anyone unless you mention that you were raped. Then they do have to call the police. It's just for your safety though! They are not trying to hurt you. I hope this helps and I really think that you should talk to someone about this even though it doesn't feel like it at the moment, it will take a big wait off your shoulders. I wish you the best!!

Although the hospital can not tell your parents they must tell the police if they are aware of a crime, once they know it would not be long before your parents would find out. However if you choose not to mention the rape and just request testing then no, HIPPA laws prevent the hospital/health care provider from disclosing info to anyone. Realize you are a victim of a crime and it was not your fault, you may need counseling and the support of your family. Contact a rape crisis or other hotline for advice.

This is a serious issue and if you're asking because it has happened to you, then you need to go to the hospital right away and not worry about your parents, but they will be informed if you are a minor. If you're just asking to ask a question, then the answer is NO, unless you are a minor and you are raped, your parents need to be involved and the police as well.

I am not sure if there is a way or not. But if there isn't do not let that discourage you. You should let them know and you all go to the hospital together. So that they can do a rape kit and check you for eveything. You should talk to someone about it.

yes, they will do whats called a rape kit. It keeps you from getting pregnant and tests for diseases. You will need to keep getting checked for disease over the next year or so. You really should let your parents know. They can help and they love you. Don't go through this alone.

honey please talk to your parents, i didn't tell anyone when it happened to me. i didn't want to talk to a stranger at the hospital or the police. i wasn't checked for STDs and didn't get the emergency birthcontrol pills. luckily i didn't catch a disease but did get pregnant. believe me that was hard to explain to my husband who had a vasectomy before we were married. we are raising her together, so it all worked out ok in the end.
if you are young enough to worry about your parents you are young enough to need their support. if it was date rape you can give the police a name. in my case it was a stranger, i still haven't gone to the police and never will. what happened to you was wrong and was not your fault. if you were somewhere your parents told you not to be they might be a little mad, but you are still their little girl. tell them, let them help you.
i tried my local health dept and my md, i was told because it was rape i would have to go to the E.R. and i didn't want to do that. you posted the question 3 days ago so it is too late for the emergency birthcontrol pills. you could try the local health dept for a general gyn exam and std check without telling them if you are determined to not tell mom and dad but i would not do that if i were you.
if you do go to the health dept find someone to talk to, a school counselor, a family member, or your best friends mom. keeping it to yourself is AWFUL. i hope everything works out for you.

Yes, you can go to any emergency department in any hospital. There's specialised female nurses that deal with checking up for Sexually transmitted diseases and gather semen sample for police evidence. Also they link to you a counseller for psychological support, as well as the police.
All of this is done without them calling your parents as there's a confidentiality ethic code binding the nurses and doctors.

Yes sweetheart as long as you are 16 and over but I strongly suggest you talk to someone about this babe, the person responsible is a poor excuse for a human and needs to be punished for it. Don't let him get away with it. He could do it again to some other girl and how would you feel then hun. Do the right thing it is not your fault. No always means no.

If you have been raped you need to notify the authorities and your parents for support. Letting a rapist get away with what they have done just to save face only allows them to pursue their next victim. Go to the Police and they will know what to do.
