chours and homework I let them go to the school on the corner where we live a couple of houses down from our house, to play basket ball. All children in the neghborhood go there to play basketball. Before it got dark I sent my son to school tell the girls to come home, he came back to the house said did not see them, so we form a search party, oh yea the neghbors grandaughter was with them, anyway, search party of five people. We could not find them for a least minuets. When I decided to call the police they appeared. They were in side the school looking around. They said that the Janitors there let them in. My first reaction was to knock the crap out of them, then hug them. But I yelled at them, explained why we were worried and what could have happen to them. They said they thought it was alright because they new the janitors. I explain to them that sometimes just because you know men don't mean you can trust them like that. Noharm done to the girls Did I do the right thing?

So I will punish them by they can not play on the school play ground for a while may be find some article on lost children orchildren been kidnapped so they will understand what i AM TALKING ABOUT.

I think your intent was right on, and I understand that you were scared, but I don't think that yelling at them was going to make the impression that you wanted to make. Now, hiding from mom is a 'forbidden fruit' and it will make them that much more interested in skulking around in other places.

A better reaction would be to hug them and then to explain to them how worried you were and why. Let their guilt control them.
