I have an essay in english: Do you agree that polititians are convincing liars.Give me some ideas please .

Here is a hint, go back to the accient greeks, Socrates believed that there was only one truth, but his rivals believed that there were many truths, according to how one may look at something. These were the first politicians, there were trained not to lie, but in the art of convincing their crowd that their argument was correct.
So basically the best politician was not the best liar, but the most convincing one ;) fine line between those two concepts ...

Do you really want to say liars? I believe they are convincing actors. They have a role and they have a script to deliver. They may actually believe what they say is true. The entire thing is to present the idea and leadership so that it appeals to the majority.

I agree with workingclasshero. If you decide on her topic, include lots of stuff about Hitler (amazing politician, just a shame about his tyrannical ideas...).
