I have to get my daughters records from wv and I'm in new jersey.I'm afraid to do it through the mail-because if her school doesnt have them by the end of the week she's suspended.

Yes, you can get them faxed. However, you must send them a written release. The release must state:
where they are to be sent,
to whom ( a specific person),
AND exactly what portion must be sent, for example immunization records, injury release, etc. .

possibly if you fax them a signed release, but they may want you to show a picture ID in person. Depends on the facility and people involved and if they know you very well to recognize your voice on the phone..

Yes, you can either have one school fax to another or you can get your new doctor to get them from the old doctor. Either way will work but they may ask for a consent form.

They will only courier the papers to your childs doctor, they will not fax them, and this would be at your expense.

It can be done, but there are hoops to jump through to comply with privacy laws. FedEx is your friend.
