I think you can cash government and payroll checks at Wal Mart. Some grocery stores will cash checks as well.

Some banks will cash a check, some banks will cash a check if you open a account with them but, the bad thing about that is is that you have to wait 10 days for the check to clear. But, if you find someone you know that can cover the ammount of your check then, sign the check over to them and get your money that way but, in any event, stick the check in the bank and open up an account for credit purposes. You'll be glad that you did because there are a lot of folks out there that are crying because they don't have credit or a bank account. Some banks even cash checks but, take a portion of it for cashing it.

Theres no way of cashing it then, you can open up a bank acct now with your refund check, but since its made out to you and you dont have a bank acct you will just have to go to a grocery store or whatever check cashing place you have in your area. Feel special you already have your refund, some of us are still waiting!!!

Most Wal-Marts will cash it if you have positive ID. They do charge a fee, but it's much less than the check-cashing ripoff outlets.
Consider opening a bank account, though. You really need one in today's society.

Just go to a little corner store and ask if they cash income tax checks and they should but it just depends on where you live

i'd wish you have some style of identity, regardless of if no longer adequate to open a economic corporation account. there are a variety of of places around which will funds cheques - do a Google seek. they are going to all require some identity, yet in all possibility no longer as strict because of the fact the banks' standards.
