Does is matter what format my camcorder is for use in Singapore? I noticed on a website some camcorders are marked especially for PAl and say for European Use Only.

I am living in Singapore and wanted to buy a camcorder from a US website but am now worried I will have compatibility problems with my TV or DVD player here.....can any help explain for me?

All our TVs are multi-channel. Getting US ntsc format is better for compatibility reasons. Japan is also ntsc. Imagine miixing superman and japanese porn flick in your wedding video. Get the drift?
