Yes! All dairy products (cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc.) are fattening. And--what's worse--it's saturated fat (which is a worse kind of fat).
Best bet is to get fat free or skim milk. If you absolutely hate it, get the 2% fat milk at least.

Well, some milk is fatening, but there are other types of milk out there. Like 1% or 2% milk. It might not sound good, but it is healthy and I learned to love it!

Well, if you eat too much of anything, it can be fattening. However, you can drink full-fat, whole milk if you want if you count calories and allow for it during the day.
I drink 1% Reduced fat milk, maybe 2%. Remember, this isn't the only dairy product out there - reduced fat cheeses are good (1oz = 1 serving), and yogurt is available too. Calcium isn't just in dairy products, you can also find it in some vegetables.
This is why it is important to eat a well-balanced, calorie restricted diet. Good luck!

skim milk is the least fattening. The no fat milk has as much calcium as the others. Also there is a brand of orange juice that has calcium added.

Fattening, slimming, good for you, bad for you. None of these tags that are commonly applied to food have any meaning. All must be taken in the overall context of your entire diet, but a reasonable amount of reduced-fat dairy in your diet is a simple way to get your calcium intake.
