Well first off if you dont want things to be ackward when you go out with him than act as if nothing happened. That means act like yourself and enjoy your time with him, Apologizing to him may make him happy but also make you look like you put a lot of thought into this, and you really dont want that. Dont play hard to get, but at the same time dont make yourself to available. Just have fun with him right now, and soon both of your guards will slowly come down, and you won't have to worry about scaring anyone. Im only 17 so maybe everything I said was wrong, but just try it. Good luck!
PS. Remember dont be too available for him!

The texting drunk thing is okay, forget about it. It happens to ALL of us. I think the next time you hang out with him, just act like nothing strange happend. Flirt with him, compliment him in casual ways. Try to make him laugh and feel comfortable with you. Send him a nice "thinking of you mesage" once a day. If he response, he's still into you. Keep it simple, and as I tell my friends, be easy breasy with it, don't act too serious. That's no fun.

Seems as though you can't handle it at the moment if you're scared that the relationship is getting too intense for you.
Most people would probably lose interest if the other person is unsure, or not ready for any commitment. Who wants to be left hanging around?

Take a serious look at a Body Language book.
There are a number of postures you can adopt to encourage your man to be interested (flirting postures).
Check it out.

Just go out with him and tell him you were sorry
that you acted like a bunny boiler - and that it was
because of the drink.
Agree that you don't want anything serious either.
Then take it from there.

you drank and dialled!
bad move. he may only be saying he didn't want anything serious because you did. But you're in an awkward position and I don't know if you can fix it because at this stage your relatioship was in a delicate balance.

Chill girly if he didn't want to be with you then he wouldn't ask to see you. Just be normal with him put the vodka txting night behind you and just be yourself that's what he was attracted to in the first place. Good luck x

You've blown all your chances with him. But anyway, he was only gonna use you if he tells you dat he didnt want anything serious. Next time, reserve the vodkas for people who can handle them.
