I went to a bar last week, and drunk quite a bit, but not as much as i have drunk before.
I remember there was a guy hanging around me when i went to the bar......i have huge memory gaps between things that happened, like an hour in between each bit that i just cannot recall anything about!!!
My friends told me things i had done or said that there is no way i can remember doing!! I have been very drunk before, but always remembered most things! I've never not been able to account for long periods of time - there is just nothing there!!
The next day i was sick, and i was SO TIRED the whole weekend, like i had been drained of my energy. I literally slept for 16 hours and was STILL tired. I was also going hot and cold, and excessively thirsty.
Yesterday (3 days later) i felt awful, tired, nauseous and dehydrated, and still feel a little sick today.
Do you think that i may have had something slipped into my drink?

I would just like to say, i didn't drink loads!!!
I have never in my life felt like that from drink. I've been 'paraletic' before when i was younger but always remembered what i'd done.
And for what i drunk i was nowhere near that stage.
I also wasn't too careful about watching my drink all the time. Also had a few bought for me.
And no i'm not a binge drinker.

It does sound like it - you know your own limits with alcohol and if this reaction afterwards seems extreme it is entirely possible its down to more than the alcohol.
If you are feeling better now, then take good care of yourself next time you go out and warn your friends too. It might also be a good idea to see your doctor and get their opinion, and if they agree it sounds like you may have had your drink messed with, contact the police to tell them what happened and where you were. they might not be able to anything but it at least makes them aware that this has been going on.
A blood or urine test possibly wont show anything at this stage - the reason these drugs are used is because the evidence leaves your system quickly.
Take care.

How a lot had you eaten earlier? That has a large result on how a lot alcohol you could tolerate. Had you inebriated earlier popping out? also how a lot alcohol became interior the drinks? If, for instance you had 4 triple photos with mixer as a replace of four unmarried photos, which will also make a distinction even notwithstanding you're nevertheless having 4 drinks. inspite of all the hype about "date rape" drugs, maximum drink spiking is performed by more suitable alcohol being further. If a buddy offered you the drinks, per chance some more suitable photos were further to what you idea you've been getting (can be further to bottles). in case to procure the drinks, then both the bartender became being sneaky (you should computer screen them, or it became only a mixture of aspects e.g. how a lot foodstuff you would had preciously, how warm the club became, even if you would had some drinks earlier popping out etc... that became making you sense the end result more suitable than favourite. the different probability is that there became one type of alcohol or drink there that you in effortless words couldn't drink. e.g. i'm able to drink a Smirnoff Ice truly fortuitously, yet with vomit if I drink a Reef - both contain vodka, yet for some reason i in simple terms can not drink the Reef.

I have had my drink spiked in the past & experienced similar problems. I had only drunk 2 pints, normally at the time I could get through 4 or 5 pints without getting in that state!
It is easy to confuse a hangover with having your drink spiked, but usually a hangover will only last 24 hours max, especially if you rehydrate your body drinking lots of water. It may be worth talking to your GP about it, however it depends what drug your drink was spiked with as to whether or not it would still show in your blood at this stage.
What I do now whenever I go out is take my drink with me everywhere. If I go to the toilet, my drink comes too. Sounds gross I know, but it is the only way you can make sure you stay safe. If I'm stood at the bar, I stand with my hand over the top of my drink. Remember, when you have had a few it is easy to not notice if your drink tastes a bit odd as you just put it down to the amount of alchohol you have drunk, you are also less likely to notice anyone slipping something in to your drink - even if you are with your drink at the time!

The main thing is this - "Was there at any time that your drink was left unattended?" If the answer is yes, then you could have had something slipped into your drink - for whatever reason and need to see a doctor. If you had your drinks with you at all time, even while going to the bathroom (girls should NEVER let their drinks out of their sight when at a bar), then you may have gotten a touch of alcohol poisoning.
If you are not noticing that you are getting better, you really should go see a doctor and also explain what happened.
If you are starting to feel better, flush out the toxins in your body by not eating and drinking lots and lots of water with real lemon juice added to each glass.

It's most likely the alcohol alone, and it doesn't matter anyway. If you went and spent a few hundred dollars on a doctor's office visit and urine drug screen, what you'd find out no matter the results of the tests is that what's done is done, and in future you should be more careful. Any further details such as drugs are really superfluous information.

sounds very much like (GHB) to me, I maybe wrong because Ive never taken or been given any drugs.
It would be to late to have a test done for any drugs as most like GHB would have left your system by now, but saying that still go to your doctor because if anything should happen to you god forbid it will be on recored that suspect you had been spiked and not taken anything of your own free will.
Also if you were spiked its sometimes for a reason maybe for a sick joke or sexual, get yourself checked for that too, you know yourself if anything like that had happened to you(i hope not).
last of all tell a friend or your mum what you think may have happend to you so you have some support.
Remember most of all this wasn't your fault if you were spiked someone done it to you and speak up it may have been done to someone else or the next girl may not be so lucky.
Heres a link below to GHB

Sounds like it.If you still feel unwell after 4 days it might be best to go to your doctor for a check up & maybe a blood test.If you were spiked then someone broke the law & could have killed you!
You have to make certain you don't let your drink out of your sight these days-there are some people who do it just for a ' laugh'.

The same thing happened to me and I was ALMOST raped. It sounds like someone slipped you A roofie. The important thing is: can your friends account for where you were ALL that night, and if not, do you remember anything being out of place like your clothing or something? If anything seems suspicious, go to the police and by all means have tests for VD's.

Probably not. It was probably your alcohol consumption, and perhaps you became dehydrated. Your reaction sounds like a typical hangover.
Drink plenty of fluids. Rest. Take somethig like Ibuprofen for pain. I find coca-cola good for replenishing electrolytes in the body.
Stop worrying about what may have happened. Rest your mind too!

No, I don't. You simply over-indulged big time. I've treated literally hundreds of men and women in my emergency clinic over the years, and what you report is remarkably common.
I know you don't want to hear it, but you are on the edge of a very serious drinking problem, and would be well advised to stay away from the stuff. Please consider that option carefully. You don't really want to meet my incredibly hot and sexy brother - who happens to be a mortician - in a business sense!
