What is a "good" person?

One who walks gently through this world with compassion towards all things, including this world.

I think all of us has good in us if we just look. A good person is one who listens but never judges. We all make mistakes so how can we judge others. A good person is one who gives. No matter how simple the giving might be it will bring a smile to the receiver and for a split second that person forgets all their problems. A good person is one that will cry with you even if you are a stranger. A good person will just sit and hold your hand and say nothing. If you have never walked in anothers shoes how can we really give advice so sometimes saying nothing works best. A good person smiles on gloomy days just to cheer up them person sitting next to them. You would be surprised at what a simple smile can do. A good person forgets that they to have a heart that can break or be sadden and they will never burden others with their own problems and sadness because they figure God is there to talk to when needed. They go to sleep at night with a heavy heart knowing in the mornings a new day will dawn, the sun will shine and today they will be there for another stranger or family member that might need them even if it's just as smile from them to brighten the day

Good person: sees little fault. Sees the best in people. Does not call names. Does not seek confrontation. Walks away from a fight. Understands that others maybe having a bad day. Mentors children in a kind and loving way. Gives instruction without being condescending. Does not cheat, even against those that cheat him/her. Has no envy.

I don't think I can actually say for certain what is a good person. I think there are things I can do like practicing kindheartedness and compassion that help me along the path of being a 'good' person.
I don't think that it's an automatic label I would put on myself. I'm a work in progress.

Well i believe that we were created good, but due to the fact that we sinned in the garden of Eden we lost that innocence. So...

A good person is someone who is devoted to God and willing to do what He has called him to do and to live by the laws that Christ set for us.

They don't exist.....

They can do outward deeds that are good (i.e. Oprah Winfrey)
But it wont be enough to gain heaven.....without the atoning blood of Christ.
