I think it's a unique and great idea.
I recall when I was a girl and my mother would take me shopping to the city (Philadelphia) and how I'd look forward to riding the elevators in the department stores. There was an elevator attendant in uniform and he would announce what was on each floor we'd stop at.
So different from the self-service elevators of today.

No the history of the elevator is very interesting. Don't forget to mention the world's tallest elevator.

it might sound almost like a joke to some, but i find that topic interesting. not many folks write a history report on elevators. what would we do with them and what we would do without them....

if you could find enough info, why not? would certainly make yours stand out from the others!
a friend of mine did one on male pregnancies and male lactating haha! therefore i think the history of the elevator would be less weird
